The Difference Between Preferred Partner Plans and Traditional PPO Plans
Land of Lincoln also offers Traditional PPO 2-Tier Plans. These plans provide rich benefits with one of the strongest and widest nationwide networks of healthcare providers. Our Traditional PPO Plans have two tiers, In-Network and Out-of-Network, that are typical across other health plans. Preferred Partner Plans have that same structure but offer access to a bonus tier. Members save the most money when they receive their healthcare from the Preferred Partner tier.
Figuring Out if a Doctor or Hospital is in a Preferred Partner Network
It’s easy! In our Find A Doctor tool, you can tell if a doctor or hospital is in a plan’s Preferred Partner Network if the provider is listed as “In-Network Tier 1/Preferred.” You’ll save the most by visiting these doctors and hospitals.
Remember, you still have access to our nationwide network of doctors and hospitals; those are labeled as “In-Network Tier 2″ in the Find A Doctor tool.
