Company History
Illinois Health Agents was founded by two Chicagoland insurance colleagues in 2007. After working for several Chicago-based brokerage firms over the duration of their careers, they noticed that people looking for an individual or family health insurance policy did not have access to a lot of reliable resources. The big firms only wanted to work on high commission clients while the small firms usually assigned inexperienced staffers and recent college graduates to work on individual policies, often giving insufficient or incorrect information and frustrating the client.
As a result, Illinois Health Agents was created to fill this important need, and began offering a better health insurance experience to meet the growing needs of individuals, families, and small businesses.
